MenyeSaL sekali rasanya saat mengetahui bahwa aku telah kehilangan. kehilangan bahkan sebelum aku sempat memilikinya. Aku hanya berharap, tak akan ada penyesalan… Aku juga berharap tak akan ada yang disakiti.

Biarlah yang ada hanya seoonggok penyesalan yang menjijikkan. yang datangnya selalu belakangan. jangan bawa2 rasa. apalagi rasa cinta. Jangan bawa-bawa kata-kata penantian. apalagi JAnji.

MILLION DOLLAR BABY

Seharusnya semua orang mencoba menjadi setangguh Maggie Fitzgerald (Hilary Swank). Belajar bagaimana tersenyum di antara kepedihan. Seharusnya aku juga belajar banyak dari dia, bagaimana hidup dibawah tekanan, tanpa cinta, dan mengejar impian di tengah berjuta rasa pesimis dan tak ada respek dari orang terdekat.

Maggie mau berusaha, bertahun-tahun mengumpulkan uang untuk berlatih tinju, walaupun keluarganya menghina profesinya sebagai petinju wanita, dia harus tinggal sendirian, kesepian, dan tak punya keluarga. dan kisah hidupnya yang sedih sampai mati pun tak membuatnya menyesal menjalani hidup.

Film ini membuatku sadar bahwa ada yang jauh lebih berarti daripada merenungi nasib. Ada yang jauh lebih menderita di luar sana. Yang hidupnya tanpa mimpi. Setidaknya aku ingin seperti MAggie. Ia mengejar mimpi Yang seperti daun, jatuh, gugur satu per satu. Tapi apa yang ia lakukan bukanlah menyapu puing2 mimpi yang berserakan. Ia hanya akan memungutnya, menatanya, dan mengingat kenangan manis bersama mimpi yang telah pergi.

Seharusnya aku belajar dari sana. BAhwa hidupku jauh lebih dari cukup. Aku tahu mimpiku, berusaha mengejarnya, walau belum bisa menggapainya. Setidaknya aku punya mimpi.

Tak perlu membandingkan apa yang ku punya dan org lain punya. Toh hidup ini punya jatah masing2…

Tapi satu Hal yang ku sesalkan dari MAggie… KEnapa dia lebih memilih mati..

Tapi kini aku tahu mengapa ia lebih memilih untuk mati…

KArena ia ingin mati bersama sisa kejayaan mimpinya. bukan mati bersama puing-puing mimpi yang ia kumpulkan.
